Hanging out in cars with footballers

The driver's side of the expensive European vehicle was once the sanctity of the professional footballer looking for a few moments of solace away from the harsh glare of an often unforgiving public. Not anymore.

Whether it's Zlatan Ibrahimovic encouraging a female journalist to come back to his house in order for him to prove he's not gay, Harry Redknapp revealing he has been sacked from yet another club, or Samir Nasri being showered with abuse from rival supporters in another vehicle, the humble automobile has become the latest place to jag that exclusive piece of content.

Pedro looks awkward

The uncomfortable look on Pedro's face as an overwhelmed Barcelona fan breaks down in front of him is worth far more money than what Manchester United is about to spend to lure him to England. We can only wonder what this poor woman will be like if one of Messi, Neymar or Suarez opts to leave Catalunya.

Zlatan's not gay, ok?

A photo of ex-Barcelona team-mates Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Gerrard Pique sharing a tender moment had a curious journalist wondering whether the latter had dared to do Zlatan. So, as is the modern way, she accosted the Swede as he was driving from training, showing him the photo and asking for a comment.

The big's man reponse was straight from the , encouraging the hack to come back to his place, with her sister in tow, to see whether he is gay.

Ferdinand gets weird

Figuring a pop song could articulate it better than he ever could, Rio Ferdinand launched this bizarre appeal from his car to urge Spain goalkeeper David de Gea to reject overtures from Real Madrid and stay at his former club, Manchester United. Take it away, Rio.

Redknapp with the scoops

Whether it's dishing the dirt on his latest signings;
Or breaking the bad news to fans that he's left yet another club;
'Arry's car-doorstop interviews have become the stuff of legend, immortalised by Special 1 TV.

Nasri trolled on the highway

The combustible Frenchman will probably want to forget the day a couple of Liverpool fans recognised him driving alongside them. Nasri was polite at first, but the fans kept badgering him until, perhaps inevitably, he gave them what they wanted.

And they filmed the whole thing!

Warning, some of the language used is certainly not suitable for work!
