Hapless Higuain gets clubbed in Ibiza

Argentina striker Gonzalo Higuain can't even go on holiday without the ghost of his Copa America final penalty miss hovering around him, with a rowdy group of revelers taunting him outside an Ibiza club.

The Argentinian striker was involved in a brouhaha outside the Pacha nightclub, after the gaggle of troublemakers recognised him and had a crack at him for his penalty spot failure.

Higuain was reportedly leaving the night spot at 7.15am after a long evening on the dancefloor, when one of the group recognised him.

Unfortunately for Higuain, it appeared the first thing to spring to the young man's mind was Higuain's awful penalty miss against Chile, when he blazed the ball over the cross bar.
Higuain has scored 25 goals in 52 games for Argentina, but that miss, and his missed sitter in the 2014 FIFA World Cup final against Germany, are threatening to become his legacy.

The 27 year-old refused a photo with the group, which led to one of the crowd taunting him, saying "you can't even score a penalty".

Higuain fired up, perhaps understandable on the back of a long night in Ibiza, and yelled at the posse: "You can't say that to me!"

All the while the tape was rolling, much to Higuain's chagrin.

"Delete the video, or I'll rip your head off," he said.

They didn't, and here it is.
