The first game of the 53rd season of the Bundesliga will take place on 15 August (AEST) at the Allianz Arena with the defending champion hosting Hamburg, with Bayern bidding for a fourth straight Bundesliga title.
Elsewhere in the opening round of the season, Thomas Tuchel has been given a tough debut on the Borussia Dortmund bench with Borussia Monchengladbach - who finished third last season - the visitors to the Westfalenstadion.
New Schalke coach Andre Breitenreiter leads his side to Werder Bremen while Bayer Leverkusen, fourth last term behind Bayern, Wolfsburg and Monchengladbach, hosts Hoffenheim.
The two promoted sides, Ingolstadt and Darmstadt, take on Mainz and Hannover respectively, while Stuttgart start out at home to Cologne and Armin Veh begins his second stint as Eintracht Frankfurt coach with a trip to Wolfsburg.
Finally, Augsburg kick off a season which will include European football for the first time with a home match against Hertha Berlin.
Further down the fixture list, Bayern faces Bayer Leverkusen on the third matchday before Wolfsburg visits Munich six weeks into the season, with Borussia Dortmund the visitor at the Allianz Arena a fortnight later.
There are two derbies in early November with Borussia Dortmund hosting Schalke and Bayer Leverkusen entertaining Cologne.
Bayern will face its new Bavarian rival Ingolstadt on the penultimate weekend of the season, a week after facing Monchengladbach and before ending the campaign at home to Hannover.
It will be hoping to have wrapped up the title already by then, as it has done in the past three seasons.
