Eto'o, who is under contract with Serie A side Sampdoria until June 2018, is reportedly in talks to terminate his contract with the Genoa outfit in order to complete his transfer.
A statement from Antalyaspor read: "We have an agreement with Eto'o but there are still some problems relating to the player's image rights in Italy, but we will resolve them as soon as possible."
Eto'o, 34, joined Samp from Everton in January but the former Inter Milan player failed to impress in his second spell in Serie A, scoring just two goals in 18 league appearances for the Blucerchiati.
A four-time African Footballer of the Year, Eto'o enjoyed success in Italy earlier in his career.
He moved to Inter from Barcelona in a £28 million ($57 million) transfer deal in July 2009 and helped the Nerazzurri win a histori Serie A, Coppa Italia and UEFA Champions League treble in his first season at the club.
Eto'o has also represented Real Madrid, Anzhi Makhachkala and Chelsea, winning three Champions League titles across his illustrious career as well as two Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.
