The 31 year-old still has another year left on his contract but had suggested he might call it a day if the Sky Blues lift the championship trophy for the first time in five years.
But having enjoyed a stellar season, scoring seven goals this campaign after netting a brace against Newcastle Jets last month, Brosque revealed he's not going anywhere.
The Socceroos forward, who has formed a crucial part of the Sky Blues' blistering attack this season, says the chance to play AFC Champions League football was also a big incentive to stay.
"That was the one thing I thought. As a player you always want to end on a good note," he said.
"But I've spoken to Arnie and a few people and I'm committed to this club, I'm committed to honouring my contract.
"I feel like this season has been a good one particularly in the second half of the season I feel I've contributed.
"So I'm excited especially with the possibility of the Champions League next year, that's something I want to be part of.
"So I'm not thinking of retiring no."
The Sky Blues face off with Adelaide United in the A-League semi-final clash at Allianz Stadium on Saturday night.
