The final round of the 2014-2015 season culminated in Melbourne Victory being awarded the Premiers' Plate for the third time in the competition’s history after it saw off a late challenge from Sydney FC which defeated Wellington Phoenix in the penultimate match of the season.
On Saturday night Adelaide United confirmed third place in the league with an emphatic 4-1 victory over fellow finalist Melbourne City, which finished in fifth spot.
Brisbane Roar started the final round off with a 2-1 win over Newcastle Jets to claim sixth place, only a point adrift of Melbourne City.
Week One of the 2015 finals series will see Adelaide United host Brisbane Roar on Friday 1 May and Wellington Phoenix face Melbourne City FC on Sunday 3 May in the Elimination Finals.
