Georgievski was called up for national dutys this month by his native FYR Macedonia, pitting him against his A-League captain when the Red Lions take on the Socceroos on 30 March.

He is also in line to play against Belarus on 27 March in a qualifier for the 2016 European Championships.

"I'm happy to be back in a little bit of form and hopefully contributing to Melbourne Victory in the right way and I'll do the same for Macedonia," Georgievski said.

"To play for a country where my parents were raised against a country (Australia) where I was raised and now play will make it a special occasion."

Goalkeeper Nathan Coe joked that Georgievski could expect some special treatment from his club skipper.
"I think Millsy will have a go at him," he said.

Georgievski's unavailability means Coe will be keeping guard in front of an unrecognisable defence for his side's Round 22 meeting with Central Coast Mariners.

Joining Milligan on international duty is Olyroos trio Connor Pain, Scott Galloway and Jason Geria.

Kosta Barbarouses will also miss after he was selected for New Zealand, which plays Korea Republic in Seoul.

A likely defence for Victory's home match against the Mariners could be Dylan Murnane and Leigh Broxham as wing-backs, with Nick Ansell and Matthieu Delpierre resuming central roles.

An injury or suspension to those four would leave Victory desperately short as it attempts to keep pace with league leaders Sydney FC and Wellington Phoenix.

Coe said the missing players didn't make this weekend's meeting with Adelaide - also a title contender - any more important.

"I don't think anyone's looking that far ahead," he said. "We've got to take each game at a time. Adelaide is another big and important game and that's what we're focused on."

Coe is one of a handful of key Victory players to be out of contract at the end of the season.

The goalkeeper said he was keen to extend his stay but he said he wasn't phased by the situation.

"As much as I'd like to be sorted and settled for the next few years it's part of football," he said.
