“Not only are Scott and Rashid fine players for our club and will continue to be but they are also well respected and quality young men,” Trimboli said.
Galloway, who made his Victory debut in 2012, said he was looking forward to sticking with the club.

“Melbourne Victory is the biggest club in the country and I’ve enjoyed my time here, it’s been amazing and I want to continue my career at Melbourne Victory,” Galloway said.

“I feel my progression as a footballer is only going to enhanced being at this club, especially working with a great group of coaches led by Kevin (Muscat) so it’s the best environment for me to be in moving forward.

”You just look at our crowds that come week in week out and show their passion for the club, they are always amazing and it’s a club with a proud history that I want to be a part of.”

Mahazi, who made his Victory debut in 2013, was also delighted to be staying put.

“The environment created at Melbourne Victory on and off the pitch is a fantastic one to be a part of and extending my contract to stay at the club was a priority for me,” Mahazi said.

“I have enjoyed every minute of my time at the club and I can feel something special for the group is not too far away so I’m over the moon to be staying for another two years.”
