"It's a real honour to win the NAB Young Player Of The Year nomination for December," former Melbourne Victory man Jeggo said.
"We've had a successful first half to the season and I am happy to be playing regularly. I've got a good team around me, that everyone knows their roles and it’s come from that.
"Coming to Adelaide United I've learnt a lot, especially playing under Josep (Gombau) and the rest of the coaches. I want to thank my team-mates and coaches for helping me win this award because they have been excellent in my development as a footballer."
Jeggo is now a contender for the title of NAB Young Footballer of the Year 2014-2015 along with October nominee Terry Antonis (Sydney FC) and November nominee Tomi Juric (Western Sydney Wanderers).
The winner will be announced at the A-League and W-League 2014-2015 Awards Night on 11 May 2015.
