Reus has also been the centre of transfer speculation himself but the 23-year-old is hoping Dortmund manages to keep its 'family' intact.
He told Spanish newspaper AS: "I hope that no player leaves Dortmund, not Hummels, not anybody.
"We are a family and we have contracts. The atmosphere in the dressing room is very good and we feel very good at the club and in the city."
Regarding Hummels, Reus believes his fellow
"In the next few years he will be world class, but even now, despite his age he already has experience.
"He can create attacks with his great vision at the back and, in case anyone forgets, Hummels is also good in the opposition penalty area, which makes him the complete player."
