Giuseppe Mascara gave Al-Nasr the lead after 18 minutes only for
Ricardo Quaresma to equalise on the stroke of half-time.

Mascara restored the host's advantage in the 54th minute but the visitor again came back,
Ismail Al Hammadi levelling with 15 minutes remaining.

The match appeared to be heading for a draw before Jimenez's late intervention as it went six points clear in second.

Al Wahda's hopes of forcing its way into the top six was scuppered when it went down to a surprise 4-3 home defeat to struggling Ajman.

Oliveira Marcelinho gave the host an ideal start with a goal after five minutes only for
Boris Kabi to level seven minutes later.

Kabi struck again after 33 minutes to put the visitor ahead before Pap Waigo equalised four minutes before half-time.

Al Wahda then went ahead for the second time through Srdan just after the hour, but
Waleed Ahmed made it 3-3 a minute later.

Jasim Ali then scored a shock winner with 13 minutes to go.

Mohammed Nasser scored two minutes from time as Al-Wasl came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Al-Ittihad Kalba.

Abdulla Al Jamhi put the host ahead on the stroke of half-time with Edwardo Sadomba extending the lead four minutes after the break.

However, Nassa pulled one back seven minutes after the restart before his late goal ensured a point.
