Didier Drogba scored twice as Galatasaray edged a step closer to retaining its Turkish Super Lig title with a 3-1 home win over Elazigspor.

All four goals were scored in a frantic opening 26 minutes, with
Burak Yilmaz (2') and Drogba (20') putting Gala in charge before Elazigspor halved the deficit through
Serdar Gurler's 22nd-minute strike.

Drogba restored Gala's two-goal lead almost immediately, though, and that was the end of the scoring as the UEFA Champions League quarter-finalist recorded its fifth successive league win to provisionally move seven points clear of nearest challenger Fenerbahce.
