Mordovia Saransk missed the chance to climb out of the bottom two of the Premier League after playing out a goalless draw at home to Krasnodar.

With third-bottom Krylya Sovetov losing the day before, improving Mordovia could have moved up to 14th if it had followed up recent wins over Krylya and Anzhi Makhachkala with another three-point haul.

However, it could find no way past mid-table Krasnoder and remains second-bottom, a point behind Krylya.
