The stalemate edged Anderlecht two points clear in the six-team Championship play-off, but Zulte-Waregem could displace it with victory at Genk tomorrow.

Sporting Charleroi and Gent lead the UEFA Europa League play-off groups after differing fortunes.

Charleroi thumped OH Leuven 3-0 to go top of Group B. David Pollet's 22nd-minute penalty was followed by a
Onur Kaya goal three minutes later to give Charleroi a 2-0 lead.

Substitute
Elvedin Dzinic sealed the win in injury-time.

Waasland-Beveren joined Leuven in second place, a point behind Charleroi, with a 1-0 win over 10-man Mechelen.

Wesley Sonck grabbed the goal on 50 minutes before
Steven De Petter saw red late on.

Gent remained top of Group A but only after it held on for a 0-0 draw at KV Kortrijk with 10 men.
Renato Neto saw red on 45 minutes but Kortrijk failed to find a winner.

Mons moved up to second with a 2-1 home win against Lierse.

Jeremy Sapina (62) and
Aloys Nong (72) gave Mons an advantage that Mohamed El-Gabbas could only halve with five minutes left.

Cercle Brugge kept alive its bid to beat the drop in its five-game relegation play-off against Beerschot with a 1-0 win.

Beerschot started the series with a three-point advantage due to its higher league position and, after winning the opening game 1-0 last weekend, would have moved to the brink of avoiding automatic relegation with a win.

Instead Cercle hit back thanks to William's 11th-minute goal.
