The home side found itself trailing to a Tabare Viudez goal after just seven minutes but was level through Olcay Sahan six minutes later.

However, Campos Djalma restored Kasimpasa's lead after 33 minutes and a 79th-minute strike from Halil Colak put the result beyond doubt.

Third-placed Besiktas remains four points behind leader Galatasaray, while it is now just three points better off than Kasimpasa.

Genclerbirligi climbed into the top six with a late 2-1 victory over Karabukspor.

A ninth-minute opener from Radosav Petrovic was cancelled out by Luton Shelton for the visitor five minutes before the interval.

The dismissal of Anil Karaer seven minutes into the second half came as a blow to Karabukspor but it held on until the final minute, when Bjorn Vleminckx netted the winner.

Istanbul Buyuksehir pulled three points clear of the drop zone with a 4-2 win over bottom club Mersin Idmanyurdu, which remains eight points from safety.

Goals from Simon Zenke, Tom, Mahmut Tekdemir and Samuel Holmen put Istanbul in the driving seat before Mersin replied with a late brace from Marcio Nobre.
