The all-white strip with sky blue pin stripes and royal blue sleeves was designed by Cove member Adam Walter and selected from over 1,000 entries.

Sydney's goalkeepers, Vedran Janjetovic and Ivan Necevski, will wear their own version of the 'Community Strip', choosing the traditional Sky Blue as the primary colour.

A limited number of strips will be on sale at Allianz Stadium and the shirts worn by the Sydney FC players will be auctioned next week with part of the proceeds being donated to the club's community partner, Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI).

'The Community Strip is the culmination of a cooperative approach between Sydney FC, adidas, Webjet and CMRI, which is one of the highlights of our 200th Hyundai A-League celebrations," Sydney FC CEO Tony Pignata.

Eighth-place Sydney is level on points with sixth-place Roar as the business end of the regular season nears.

And with just four points separating fifth-place Newcastle Jets and rock bottom Perth Glory, the battle for the last two finals spots will be intense.
