Former Wolfsburg striker Grafite got the visitor off the mark in the 25th minute before Emana added another one minute before half-time.

Boris Kabi pulled a goal back for Ajman in the 49th minute but
Khalaf Ismail's second-half dismissal hindered the host's chances of forcing a draw.

Essa Obaid
scored twice as Al-Shabab climbed into 10th place with a 3-1 win over Dubai.

Rami Yaslam left it until second-half stoppage time to answer Obaid's brace, the Al-Shabab man striking either side of the break, but
Jociel Ciel rubber-stamped the win in the dying seconds.

Elsewhere, 10-man Al-Dhafra pulled eight points clear of the relegation places with a 1-0 home win over
Walter Zenga'sAl-Nasr.

Saif Mohammed scored what proved to be the winner in the 12th minute and the hosts rode out
Fawzi Bashir's 22nd-minute dismissal to claim all three points.
