Pavel Mamaev were the goalscorers for CSKA, with
Anton Bober equalising in between times.

CSKA's nearest challenger Anzhi Makhachkala faces third-placed Zenit St Petersburg away from home on Monday evening (Tuesday morning AEDT).

Dinamo Moscow was also a 2-1 winner, away to Terek Grozny.

Kevin Kuranyi scored both goals, the second coming three minutes after Ailton had drawn Terek level.
