AC Milan representatives are set to run the rule over Odd Grenland starlet Jan Gunnar Solli at the Norwegian club's La Manga training camp.

The Italian giants invited the Norway Under-21 international to train with them in December and were reportedly impressed with his performances and will take another look at him in the next two weeks.

"I have received very good feedback on his trial down there, both from the AC Milan general director and people in the coaching team," former Serie A star Per Bredesen told Norwegian newspaper VG.

Bredesen has used his contacts in Italian football to help the 21-year-old achieve his dream move and confirmed that the Serie A league leaders will be joined by Bologna, Chievo, Piacenza and Perugia in keeping a check on the youngster.

"I have sent them the whole schedule for the games in La Manga. Milan will come to see the tournament," added Bredesen.

"It is nice that they will come to see me play in Spain, but it would be almost ridiculous to think I could move to Milan now," Solli told VG.

Serie A minnows Modena tried to take Solli on loan with a view to a permanent deal but Odd rejected the move.

"I have no rush to move abroad. I like it in Odd Grenland," added Solli.
