Salinas goes from hero to villain

Aldo De Nigris headed the opener after 30 minutes and Cesar Delgado ran through to score the second four minutes later, before Jesus Zavala lashed home to complete the scoring in the 55th minute.

San Luis had Jehu Chiapas sent off four minutes later but kept Monterrey to three goals.

Guadalajara stays bottom of the table after five matches, having lost 2-1 at home to Morelia despite taking a first-half lead through Omar Arellano.

Miguel Sabah netted in the 57th and 83rd minutes to give Morelia the points.
