Winning penalty ... striker Mark Bridge (Getty)
A late penalty from Mark Bridge gave Western Sydney Wanderers a 1-0 victory over Wynnum Wolves in an A-League trial match on Tuesday night.
Bridge struck the winning goal 10 minutes from time.
Imports Dino Kresinger and Jerome Polenz took part in the trial at Carmichael Park that was played over three 30-minute spells.
A great spirit prevailed among a crowd of about 3000.
The trial took place on the third day of week-long training camp in Queensland for the new Wanderers squad.
The Wanderers will remain in Brisbane until Thursday before heading to Lismore ahead of their match against Melbourne Heart at Oakes Oval on Friday night.
