Moving on ... Sydney FC midfielder Hiro Moriyasu (Getty Images)
Sydney FC midfielder Hiro Moriyasu has left the A-League club with one year to run on his contract.
The Sky Blues and Moriyasu agreed a mutual contract termination, with the Japanese player seeking more regular first-team football.
"Hiro's attitude and work rate during his time at Sydney FC has been first class," Sydney FC coach Ian Crook said of the 27-year-old.
"Competition for places at Sydney FC is now very high and unfortunately for Hiro it is unlikely we'll be able to offer him the kind of regular first-team football he needs.
"He leaves with the thanks of everyone at Sydney FC and we wish him all the best for his future career."
Moriyasu played 36 times for Sydney FC over two years.
