Sydney FC bolstered its striking stocks with the signing of Panama striker Yairo Yau on loan from Sporting San Miguelto for the 2012-2013 A-League season.
Yau, who was a member of Panama's squad for its recent FIFA 2014 World Cup qualifying wins over Cuba and Honduras, joins Croatian forward Kruno Lovrek at the club, as the Sky Blues continue to strengthen their attacking options.
"We're very excited about being able to entice Yau to Sydney FC," Sydney FC coach Ian Crook said.
"He's a current Panamanian international and the boy can play."
"We now have a good group of attacking options with Yau and Lovrek joining Joel Chianese, Nick Carle, Brett Emerton, Mitch Mallia, Ali Abbas and Dimi Petratos to give our members and fans some excitement up front."
Yau has played four matches for Panama, scoring one goal in a friendly against Guyana in May.
