Waiting for visa ... Sydney FC coach Vitezslav Lavicka (right) hopes to have new striker Bruno Cazarine available (Getty)
Sydney FC is confident of having new striker Bruno Cazarine available for Saturday night's A-League clash with table-topping Adelaide United.
Sydney coach Vitezslav Lavicka said the club was working hard to get the Brazilian forward's visa cleared in time for the match.
The nomadic frontman signed with the club earlier this week, ending its long search for a striker to replace John Aloisi.
"We all believe that he (Cazarine) will be available for this weekend ... working hard to get his visa through," Lavicka said.
Lavicka would not be drawn on what role Cazarine would play if he was cleared but said he was match-fit and ready to go.
"He looks like he's ready," Lavicka said.
"I believe that he will be an important part of the Sydney FC squad.
"Firstly, most important is the visa, after that we can make decision if he start on the starting or on the bench."
Lavicka said he was confident the player's immigration difficulties would be sorted before the weekend.
"I am a positive thinking person," he said.
"We all hope and believe that everything will be OK."
Sydney is again set to be without injured duo Terry McFlynn and Alex Brosque for Saturday's match.
