Sky Blues add Cazarine

Sydney finds itself at the bottom of the table and without a win after four rounds of the season.

Coach Vitezslav Lavicka believes Cazarine, who was confirmed as the club's latest signing at a Tuesday morning press call, can bring much-needed strength to his side's attack and a variation to the established pair of Mark Bridge and Alex Brosque.

Lavicka decided to make Cazarine's stay permanent after a one-week trial, with the 27-year-old signing a one-year deal.

"We started to find out he was physical and a strong striker a long time ago," Lavicka saidy.

"We are happy to have signed a player like Bruno, because he is able to bring his physical possibilities.

"He is strong in the air and he also is a good finisher.

"I believe he could be available (to play Adelaide) but firstly he must (secure) the visa and gain permission."

The Brazilian is keen to get down to business on the field.

"I'm very happy with this possibility to play with Sydney FC, because Sydney is a big club here in Australia, the last champion and this is a good possibility for me," he said.

"The club is very professional (and) I can do my best here.We have good players and many good strikers like Brosquey, Bridgey, Kofi, I think I'm a different player to them.

"I'm more tall, and I think maybe I can play more physically. The coach has good kinds of players to choose from."

Cazarine is a former Palmeiras junior and has already appeared for 11 clubs in his relatively short career.

Six of those clubs have been in Brazil but he has also played in Qatar, China, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Korea Republic.
